Her PhD project is a monographic study of the late Hong Kong artist Ha Bik Chuen \u590f\u78a7\u6cc9 (1925-2009), which explores the relationship between cultural modernity and artistic modernism emerging from Post WWII Hong Kong. Her current research focuses on the travels of artists of Chinese descent in mid-twentieth century East and Southeast Asia and how these experiences mediated their projections of a cultural China. Her writing has been published in the journal <em>Southeast of Now<\/em> (2019) and <em>Ambitious Alignments: New Histories of Southeast Asian Art, 1945\u20131990<\/em>. Previously Researcher at Asia Art Archive (AAA), Wong\u2019s research focused on Hong Kong art history and histories of exchange and circulation through exhibitions and periodicals in mid twentieth century.
