He moved to Hong Kong in 1986, and continues to be based here. He is currently the Honorary Professor in the Department of Art History of the University of Hong Kong.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Professor Clarke has served as External Moderator of the Strategic Planning Group of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council and as a member of its Visual Arts Committee. He has also served on the Board of Governors of the Hong Kong Arts Centre (and as chair of its Arts Programme Committee), as a member of the International Committee of the College Art Association (USA), and as a member of the Museums Advisory Group of the Consultative Committee on the Core Arts and Cultural Facilities of the West Kowloon Cultural District (HKSAR Government).
