Fok who was awarded the Li Ka Shing Prize in October. Her thesis on The Development of the Stars (Xingxing) Artists, 1979-2000 had been considered by the Board of Examination for Graduate Studies to be the best M.Phil. thesis presented from the Humanities Stream in 1999-2001. In 1990, Dr. Li Ka Shing made a generous donation to the University.
