Looking at examples in forms ranging from science-fiction film to contemporary-art installations, the talk considers the difficulty, given its geographic and temporal dispersal, of visually representing climate.<\/p>\n<h5 class=\"\" data-fontsize=\"20\" data-lineheight=\"30px\">Speaker<\/h5>\n<p>Joshua Shannon is Professor of Contemporary Art History and Theory at the University of Maryland, USA. His research and teaching investigate modern and contemporary art in relationship to social and cultural history, with special interests in architecture, cities, landscape, and ecology.
