Both as a hugely influential artist in his own right and as an esteemed teacher, Sir Michael Craig-Martin is celebrated for his time as a tutor at Goldsmiths College, University of London, between 1974 and 1988, and then again from 1994 to 2000. He is credited with having taught an emerging generation of artists who went on to become known as the Young British Artists or \u201cYBAs\u201d.
