Final papers are due on 1 November 2009.

 

Paper format is as follows:

 

Maximum 6,000 words, including endnotes and other additional matter. Please keep your formating to a minimum, as everything will have to be standardized.

 

Maximum 10 pictures. You are responsible for obtaining copyright permission, which should be submitted with your pictures. Pictures can be submitted as slides or in digital format.

 

Digital images should be TIFFs or JPEGs taken or scanned at least 350 dpi *at the intended print size* for color/bw photos, and 1200 dpi for line art.

 

Put citations in endnotes.

 

Citation format should follow the Chicago Manual of Style’s style B for your bibliography and style N for your endnotes. Further information can be found at – www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/tools_citationguide.html

 

Short endnote formats can be used for subsequent citations.

 

Please submit your paper as a word document via email.

 

If you are using diacritical marks or words in non-English scripts that computers tend to distort, then also send a hard copy of your paper by mail to me.
