Academic and writer Leung Ping-kwan had died on 5 January 2013.
Sadly, Mio Hani also died later that year on 18 November 2014. She was a journalist, and had been based in Hong Kong at one time. She was the daughter of Japanese filmmaker Susumu Hani. As a young girl she starred in his movie 'Mio' (1972).
Photographer Lee Ka Sing was an old friend and artistic collaborator of Leung Ping-kwan. An essay by me about Leung Ping-kwan was published in Chinese translation in a special issue of the journal Hong Kong Literary (No. 340, April 2013) which collected material about him (p. 62-63). Leung often published under the penname Yesi.
