Lee settled in Hong Kong in 1975. Lee principally paints landscape but he also does some works on birds, flowers and figures occasionally. He has published two albums of his work, one of them specializing in landscape and the other in flowers. Apart from painting, Lee is also deeply interested in Chinese literature and he writes poetry as well. Lee held a joint exhibition with his students in 1989.
