Lee started working as a professional photographer in the late 1970s. He has received numerous overseas and local awards and was chosen as Photographer of the Year in 1989 by the Hong Kong Artists’ Guild. He has participated in many art exhibitions both in Hong Kong and abroad, including the solo exhibitions “Thirty-One Photographs” (1993) and “Foodscape” (1997, Artspeak Gallery, Vancouver). Recent major group shows included “Asian Views” (1996, Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography), “New Images from Hong Kong” (1996, Tower Gallery, Yokohama), SIGGraph (1995, Los Angeles). Lee's works are in the collections of the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, as well as those of overseas and local private collectors. He is founder of The Original Photograph Club and Leefotogallery.com. Lee currently lives in Toronto, Canada. | |||||||||||||||
