Abbas obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art (Sculpture) from Chelsea College of Art & Design, Master of Philosophy from the University of Hong Kong, and BTEC Foundation Diploma in Art & Design (Ceramics) from Central St Martins College of Art & Design. His involvement in group exhibitions began in London in the early 2000s, and his works have since been shown in group exhibitions in Edinburgh, Tokyo, Shanghai, Beijing, and Taipei. His first solo exhibition, Cataract, was held at Experimenta & Gallery Exit, Hong Kong in 2010. Marine Lover: A Hermatypic Romance (Hong Kong International Art Fair, Hong Kong, 2011), and Tetraphilia (Third Floor-Hermés, Singapore, 2013) are amongst Abbas’s other solo exhibitions. | |||
