Ng graduated from the Printmaking Department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Art in 1992 and specializes in lithography. She believes that a lithographer should have the perspective of a sociologist, who identifies with the society and everyday life, offering a critique and interpretation of his /her habitat. Therefore, her works frequently depict the life of Hong Kong people, especially how they live between the hyper-modern and traditional lifestyles. Ng won the Printmaking Prize of the 9th Chinese National Art Exhibition in 1999. Her works are widely collected by various collectors in Hong Kong, including the Hong Kong Museum of Art and Fringe Club.
