The Green Forest 綠色的森林 ( 1994 ) Colour & ink on paper (Real gold spots hand-made paper) 123x57cm
There is a traditional Chinese saying: "You can survive without meat, but you can't live without bamboo." An ideal house must have green bamboo. In scaffolding they use bamboo. Even the Bank of China building is a high-rise bamboo. Modern architecture is a forest without green.

The Hong Kong Art Archive is honoured to be chosen as one of the HKU Faculty of Arts 90th Anniversary projects.
