Cho was born in Korea and has been living in Hong Kong since 1997. She completed her Bachelor degree in Western Painting and Master degree in Art Education at Duk Sung Woman's University College of Fine Arts in Korea. She received the Inchon Grand Art Exhibition Grand Prize and the 4th Sea Art Festival Grand Prize in Korea in 1990. She also received the Prize of Peace and Friendship in the 4th International Asian European Art Biennial in 1992. Cho founded the 'Front Art Studio' in Oil Street in 1998 and 'Kwok Art Institute' Community Art Education in Cattle Depot Artist Village in 2001. | |||||||||||
