Graduated from Fine Arts Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2000, Kwok Ying received her master degree from Chelsea College of Arts and Design, University of the Art London in 2004 with the Chevening Scholarship from British Council. She had taken part in various group exhibitions such as the Hong Kong Art Biennial (2001, 2003), Woman Wanted in Hong Kong Heritage Museum (2002), and had her solo exhibitions: Sky Garden (2001) Kwok Ying in the Jungle (2003) and 2006 Spring Summer Collection (2006). Kwok was awarded the Prize of Excellence (Hong Kong Art Biennial 2001), and her works were collected by Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Museum of Art, and Hong Kong Heritage Museum.
