| Au graduated with the Master of Fine Arts from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2004. She published her debut catalogue Au Hoi Lam Painting Journal and established her studio Tone Quarters in Fotan in 2004. She is one of the few local artists of her generation who is totally devoted to painting. Recent exhibitions included: Reversing Horizons (MoCA Shanghai, 2007), When Words are Sweet... Paintings by Au Hoi Lam (Hong Kong Central Library, 2006), Schema: a Traveler’s Approach (Artist Commune, 2005), Painting Journal (MFA Degree Show, CUHK, 2004), Hong Kong Art Biennial 2003 (Hong Kong Museum of Art, 2003), etc. Her works are collected by Hong Kong Museum of Art and private collectors. | |||
