Edwin K. Lai graduated from Derbyshire College of Education (now Derby University), U.K. in 1991 and obtained his M. Phil and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Hong Kong in 1996 and 2000 respectively. He is a member of the artists’ collective The Workshop, and the President of the Hong Kong Art History Research Society. He has been an editor of a series of art magazines published by The Workshop, and the chief editor of Besides, a journal of art history and criticism. He has held two solo exhibitions in U.K. and Hong Kong, and participated in a number of group exhibitions in Hong Kong and Japan. | |||||||||||
