| Leung completed both his MFA and BA degrees at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1997 and 1990 respectively. He also completed a Post-Diploma in the Culture of Photography, I'lstituto per lo Suiluppo Socio-Economic dello Spilimberghese, Italy in 1991. He was granted a Museum Internship at the Ghent Museum of Modern Art, Belgium in 1992. Between 1990 and 1998, he has received several awards and scholarships: Project Grant, Hong Kong Arts Development Council (1998); Lee Hysan Foundation Fellowship, Asian Cultural Council, New York (1997); Scholarship of Atelierhaus Worpsvede, Germany (1996); Urban Council Fine Arts Award, Contemporary Kong Kong Art Biennial (1996); First Prize in Sculpture and Most Promising Artist Award, Philippe Charriol Foundation, Hong Kong (1995) & Italian Government Scholarship (1990). | |||||||||||||||
