Welcome Parties
This is an annual occasion where the department invites all teaching faculty, full-time and part-time, supporting staff, majors and minors, postgraduate students, as well as friends and partners, to gather and meet each other. The department chair introduces new teachers and makes announcements on major upcoming events and plans.
Farewell Parties
Many reputable art historians have taught at the Department, inspiring different generations of students with their immense knowledge and their genuine passion in art. On occasion of retirement or resignation, staff and students organize these farewell parties to show gratitude for their contributions.
