The Department of Fine Arts is pleased to announce that the winner of Asian Art Essay Prize 2018-2019 is Tsang Hok Yau (Bibiana)! Her winning essay is entitled “Wen Boren’s Gazing into the Waterfall by the Autumnal Precipice.” (read) Congratulations!

The prize is generously funded by the the HKU Museum Society and the committee consists of Dr. Koon, Dr. Wyma and Dr. Hammers. We would like to thank all students who entered the competition this year and sincerely hope all enjoyed further developing their ideas in the submitted essays. We shall look forward to reading more excellent papers next year!
