Museum Visit at Hong Kong Heritage Museum

In view of the exciting exhibition “Dunhuang – Untold Tales, Untold Riches” at Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Fine Arts Society organized a study trip on February 7th, 2015. The Society invited Dr Yeewan Koon  to tour a group of 20 Fine Arts students through the exhibition. They went  from one cave to another, experiencing how those fascinating mural paintings and sculptures would have functioned in their original contexts. Students examined the exhibits closely, and discussed the significance of Dunhuang as a religious site of art and archaeological importance.
