This course provides an in-depth exploration of Thailand’s artistic heritage, spanning from the Neolithic period to the modern era. It examines Thai art in its different forms, including painting, sculpture, architecture, and material culture, within their historical, religious, and cultural contexts. Through a chronological and thematic approach, students will investigate the influences of regional and global interactions on Thailand’s art, from the establishment of early settlements to contemporary artistic expressions.
