HKU Arts Elite Scheme for Outstanding HKDSE Students

Application & admission

This Scheme is available for HKDSE students who have scored 27.5 or above (English + Best 4 subjects; based on HKU Scoring System; no weighting applied).

Candidates should apply through the Faculty of Arts. As a Department, we do not admit students separately.

Privileges

Faculty-level:

  • Enhanced faculty mentoring for intended major
  • Additional Faculty Global Exploration Fund
  • Priority access to HKU Arts internship opportunities and career workshops
  • Priority access to out-of-classroom activities, including study-abroad opportunities

Department-level:

  • Priority in art history course enrolment through the entire period of study
  • Special recognition in travel grant application
