Mobile M+ Moving Images: Workshop Discussion with Curator Yung Ma
Date: 1 April 2015 (Wednesday)
Time: 2:00pm
Venue: Room 4.34 Run Run Shaw Tower, Centennial Campus
In this discussion, Yung Ma will be talking about the challenges of curating an exhibition on the theme of migration through the medium of moving images. This new ambitious project held at Midtown Pop (Causeway Bay) and Cattle Depot Artist Village (To Kwa Wan), and with screenings at Broadway Cinemateque (Yau Ma Tei) defies the tradition ideas of exhibition, but has it also set up a new type of platform for talking about art? This informal discussion will also include a conversation and welcomes questions on the exhibition, the role of a curator and the changing landscape of art practices in the region.
