Re-opening of Department Office and Access to the Resource Centre
Re-opening of Department Office on a Reduced Schedule and Access to the Resource Centre by Appointment Our department office will re-open next week on 2 days: April 20 (Monday) and April 24 (Friday) 10am-1pm, 2pm-4pm Student access to our library collection at the Resource Centre is allowed, but please make an appointment ahead of time, at least 1 day prior to your proposed time. Temporary closure of Office & Resource Centre
The University’s “Task Force on Infectious Diseases” recommends that departments shall further reduce the level of services on campus. Our department office will be closed until further notice, and our Resource Centre will be closed until at least 23 30 March 13 April 2020. Asian Art Essay Prize 2018-2019
The Department of Fine Arts is pleased to announce that the winner of Asian Art Essay Prize 2018-2019 is Tsang Hok Yau (Bibiana)! Her winning essay is entitled “Wen Boren’s Gazing into the Waterfall by the Autumnal Precipice.” (read) Congratulations! The prize is generously funded by the the HKU Museum Society and the committee consists of Dr. Koon, Dr. Wyma and Dr. Hammers. We would like to thank all students who entered the competition this year and sincerely hope all enjoyed further developing their ideas in the submitted essays. We shall look forward to reading more excellent papers next year!
