Exhibition: Botticelli’s Venus at UMAG
Sandro Botticelli’s Venus (ca. 1482) in the collection of Galleria Sabauda in Turin will be exhibited at the University Museum and Art Gallery, University of Hong Kong, from 18 October to 15 December 2013. Two members of our faculty will lecture at the museum on topics related to this exhibition. Study Trip to London
Study Trip exploring museums and exhibitions in London Dr. Koon and Dr. Hammers will lead a Chinese art study trip to London from December 2-8 (tentative dates). The focus of the trip is the Victoria and Albert Museum’s Masterpieces of Chinese Painting, 700-1900 and the conference “The Making of Chinese Painting, 700-1900”. Visits to other art institutions and other cultural sites of interests will also be included. Exhibition: Fantasies and Crises: Works of Austrian Artists Gustave Klimt and Egon Schiele A group of Fine Arts undergraduate students curated an exhibition Fantasies and Crises: Works of Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele with the help and support of the Art Promotion Office, the Austrian Consulate of Hong Kong, and the University of Hong Kong, Faculty of Arts Student Knowledge Exchange Scheme.
