Reopening of Office and Resource Centre
The Department's General Office and the Resource Centre will operate on a reduced schedule until further notice. Monday to Friday, 9:30am-1pm, 2pm-5pm We will take cautious measures to minimize the risk of infection. Our staff will have students’ temperature measured before they enter the centre. Students should also wear a mask inside. With social distancing still in practice, we will keep the maximum number of students using our collection to 6 at a time.
Making Images of Feelings by Lara Blanchard
Dr Hammers would like to invite students and friends to an upcoming online talk, "Making Images of Feelings: Interiority, Passion, and Meaning in Song Dynasty Paintings of Women," by Prof. Lara C. W. Closing of Department Office and the Resource Centre
In light of the evolving situation and the continued spread of the coronavirus locally, the Department office will be closed until further notice. Access to the library collection is possible by advanced appointment. For enquiries and special arrangements, please email our staff at ahrc@hku.hk and state your date & time options (Mon-Fri, 10am-1pm, 2pm-4pm). Meanwhile, our administrative staff will continue to support students and colleagues by working from home. For general enquiries, email art.history@hku.hk

Closing of Department Office and the Resource Centre
The University’s Task Force on Infectious Diseases recommends that departments shall further reduce the level of services on campus. In view of the continued local spread of coronavirus, the department is closing its office until at least 11 February 2022. Resource Centre will also be closed on Friday 4 February 2022. Access to the library collection will be possible from 7 February 2022 onwards, 10am-1pm, 2pm-4pm. Note that appointment is required in advance.
