We are now a team of 8 full-time teaching faculty, with a wide range of teaching expertise and research areas.

The Art History Resource Centre is the hub of our community. It houses our departmental library and archives. Students are welcome to use the space during its opening hours:
Monday to Friday, 9am 9:30am-1pm, 2pm-5pm 5:30pm

Reduced Opening Hours of Office and Resource Centre

With a recent spike in local cases of coronavirus, the Department General Office and the Resource Centre will operate on a reduced schedule until further notice. Monday to Friday, 10am-1pm, 2pm-4pm We will take cautious measures to minimize the risk of infection. Our staff will have students’ temperature measured before they enter the centre. Students should also wear a mask inside. With social distancing still in practice, we will keep the maximum number of students using our collection to 6 at a time. MA in Art History

The admission intake for the Master of Arts in Art History (MAAH) Programme 2021/22 is now open.

Our MAAH Programme is the first MA in Hong Kong to focus on art history. It provides advanced training in research and writing for students and specialists pursuing further academic study in art history or professional careers in museums and other art-related fields.
