This course will present an overview of the history and development of Western art from ancient Greece and Rome to the 21^st century. The course will highlight major artistic movements, common techniques of Western art, and methods for interpreting visual culture. The primary mode of teaching for this course is postgraduate-level tutorial discussions and writing assignments, supplemented by attendance to UG lectures.
