Congratulations to our Honorary Professor David Clarke, whose latest publication entitled China—Art—Modernity: A Critical Introduction to Chinese Visual Expression from the Beginning of the Twentieth Century to the Present Day has just come out and is now available at Hong Kong University Press, as well as Amazon and Book Depository.

Along with his earlier well-received publications, Hong Kong Art: Culture and Decolonization (2001), Water and Art (2010), and Chinese Art and its Encounter with the World (2011), this volume is another valuable one to add to his oeuvre, to the field of Chinese art history, and to our collection!
